Range of standard products

In order to enable GAZ to provide the appropriate solution in accordance with any customers´ requirements and to have the choice for any battery application existing on the market, GAZ standard Ni-Cd batteries are designed in four different performance ranges:

This GAZ cell type has been especially designed for low rates of discharge over long periods, viz the current is relatively low in comparison with the total stored energy. The discharges can generally be infrequent and the recommended discharge time for the KL …P range is 1 hour to 100 hours.
The GAZ M type has been especially designed for “mixed loads” that include a mixture of high and low rates of discharge. It is used for frequent and infrequent discharges and the recommended discharge time is 30 min to 120 min.
This GAZ cell type is an improved KM …P type and caused by a special perforation able to provide higher discharge currents for special applications up to 1 hour. The recommended discharge time for the NON-STOP range is 10 min up to 60 min.
This GAZ cell type is especially designed for high current discharging over short discharged periods. The recommended discharge time for the KH range is 1 s to 30 min.
GAZ LOMAIN extreme low maintenance Ni-Cd batteries

GAZ extreme low maintenance batteries provide a 20 years lifetime without the need of water filling caused by a special single cell design and the valve regulated venting system. LOMAIN combines the well proven GAZ Ni-Cd pocket plate construction with the new GAZ LOMAIN battery concept and minimizes the maintenance costs in the greatest possible extend.
